Description

The Compact Wind Anemometer is designed for use in building technology systems, industrial power plants, wind power plants, and environmental protection; everywhere where precise weather data must be measured and converted for process control purposes. The different available output signals make this instrument compatible with many other innovative systems. The component materials were selected based upon their resilience under extreme conditions. The housings are made of seawater-impervious anodized aluminum and the cup-star and wind vane are made of glass fibre reinforced special plastic, making them extremely durable and resistant. This transmitter is specialized for use in mountainous terrain, polar climates, or at other critical sites where icing might be expected frequently. It provides all of the advantages of the compact design along with mitigating sub-zero temperature risk with its reinforced heating capability.

Description

Description

The Small Wind Direction transmitter is an ideal instrument for requirements where high-calibre performance must be achieved without a premium cost. This instrument is applicable for measuring the horizontal direction of wind. It is of small construction and uses a potentiometer or Reed-contact that corresponds to the position of the wind vane to provide accurate directional data. The wind vane is constructed of reinforced fibreglass, a plastic shaft, and an aluminum mast.

Description

The Handylog Digital Anemometer consists of a wind speed transmitter connected via cable to a display device. It is a portable device ideal for mobile operations or to provide for infrastructure-free rapid deployment. The anemometer is made of corrosion-free materials aluminum and plastic. The display device is made of ABS plastic and is powered by an integrated lithium-ion battery which can be recharged via the integrated mini USB connector. The readings of each measuring are recorded in a dedicated ASCII-format file and can be transferred to a computer via USB.
