Description

The First Class Wind Direction transmitter provides direction measurements that meet the stringent requirements of IEC 61400-12-1 (2005-12) for an instrument of the accuracy class 0.5. It is ideal for use in the field of meteorology and environmental measuring technology, evaluation of locations, and the measurement of capacity characteristics of wind power systems. The measuring value is available at the output as an analog signal. It can be transmitted to display instruments, recording instruments, data loggers, and process control systems. For winter operation the instrument is equipped with electronically regulated heating.

It is optimised to start at a low wind speed value and minimizes over-speeding. The measuring value is available as analog or rectangular digital output signals and can be transmitted to display instruments, recording instruments, data loggers as well as to process control systems. For winter operation the anemometer is equipped with electronically regulated heating.

Description

It combines both wind direction and velocity measurement along with a temperature sensor in a sturdy and resistant housing. The wind vane, cup star, and housing consist partially of reinforced fibreglass, and the housing brackets and mast are constructed of stainless steel and aluminum.
